Justin Zumwalt – Ph.D., NRP
Hello! My name is Justin Zumwalt. I am currently the Director of the Office of Educational Development (OED) at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (OSU-CHS). OED aims to support faculty, staff, and students to enhance the teaching and learning experiences by helping them explore, understand, and employ best practices in teaching and learning with or without technology. I am responsible for providing direction for curricular design, implementation, and evaluation through the utilization of academic technologies for our educational programs utilizing instructional design, educational technology, curricular affairs, and distributed learning.
I obtained my doctorate in Education focusing on Learning, Instructional Design, and Educational Technologies from Oklahoma State University College of Education and Human Sciences in the School of Educational Foundations, Leadership, and Aviation. I have an additional degree cognate in Healthcare Administration. My current interest is the integration of technology in undergraduate medical education (UME) with osteopathic (D.O.) and allopathic (M.D.) student physicians, and helping design better courses to increase student outcomes.
Feel free to explore my pages to learn more about what I do and how I can help you. I plan to grow my site as I progress through my professional career, so check back often for new and updated content.
